GT Jams

Based on primitive instruments from Africa and the Caribbean, GT Jams are not only fun, they’re educational. As part of the product launch, GameTime worked with music educators to provide a education standards-based music and physical activity book that promotes the educational and physical activity value and use of GameTime’s Jam Session playground products. The book was designed with many goals and features:

• Offer FUN activities that promote music and movement outdoors.
• Promote fitness and cooperative play.
• Develop materials in teacher friendly formats.
• Link to music and physical activity standards
• Develop activities that are appropriate for Pre-K-2nd grade or 3rd-5th grade.
• Offer historical background information for the inspirational primitive instruments.
